Le Baiser by Lalique for Women 3.3
Product Description
Jewelry design was the first profession of Rene Lalique, his first passion. Around 1882, when he began his career, jewelry as an Art was virtually non-existent. Originality and inspiration were ignored in favour of sumptuous luxury and profusion of precious stones.

The revolutionary creations of Rene Lalique made him the Master of Art Nouveau jewelry. He created jewelry landscapes and sculptures in which his expression found form in plant, animal and feminine shapes. He did not hesitate the use techniques and materials which had previously been ignored, such as horn, ivory, semi-precious stones, enamel and even glass, which he juxtaposed with gold and precious stones. The talent of Rene Lalique won him the admiration of collectors and celebrities of that time. Highly eclectic creator, he later designed, with the same genius flacons for some of the most famous perfume brands.

For the first time ever, Le Baiser de Lalique combines these two createive themes in which Rene Lalique excelled: jewelry and perfume bottles. The flacon found its inspiration in a broach created around 1904, featuring a kissing couple encircled by interlacing rose stems. To represent this Kiss, a magical moment when the fragrance of a woman, nascent emotion, and also the faces in full abandon, are most acutely perceived. Lalique has created a floral, spicy, woody and musky love philter. Put yourself at the mercy of love...
